Five or six things

1. Awesome trip to Oregon last weekend--it was so great to be with my mom. It was a short trip and we mostly focused on organizing her house (organizing is my idea of a good time, in case you didn't know.) She spoiled me rotten with delicious food that she made, yummy restaurant meals and new scrubs. Thanks Mama, I'll be back soon!
2. Tomorrow is my annual review at work--I am grateful in advance for how well it is going to go...
3. I just bought myself a great gift! The yoga studio by my house is running a special on three month passes and I got one for June, July and August. I am so very excited! I think this will help encourage me to go more often. There are several classes I've been meaning to try--one that corrects muscle imbalance issues, one that is energy focused--sounds kind of like tai chi and some that are meditation/yoga classes. Neat!
4. Eric made a great dinner.
5. Two walks
6. My coworkers were all so sweet and welcoming this morning when I came in.

Five things

1. Good sleep (I know, I keep posting that but after weeks of insomnia, this feels like heaven every night.)
2. Work was pretty good again today.
3. We are hiring two new nurses.
4. Tonight we went to our neighbor, Kathleen's grandson's birthday party. It was so much fun. He screamed, "WOW!" every single time he opened a present. He is so sweet and enthusiastic and playful and happy. I love that kid. It is really sweet the way Kathleen includes us in her family gatherings. Her ex-husband said, "if you come to at least three events per year, you are family." We've been to two and it's only April, score!
5. I went to lunch with my friend/coworker, Danielle today. The best part was the lemon cookie I had for dessert--oh and the company, of course!

Five (+1) things I'm pretty darn happy about today

1. A really efficient and good day at work
2. Dinner is almost ready: Eric made corn on the cob, salad and steak. I sauteed mushrooms and made cheddar bay biscuits.
3. I think I've walked between 10,000-15,000 steps every day recently, for at least a week.
4. Really good sleep
5. The wide mouth jar attachment for my FoodSaver arrived in the mail today, along with two books I've been wanting to read.
6. Wendy got accepted to OHSU! That's right, her two top choices both accepted her. How awesome is THAT?!! (Mom, don't get too excited, she's probably staying in Seattle.)

Five things

1. It's Friday.
2. Eric, Clover and I went for a walk right before sunset.
3. Lemon Month at Sweet Tomatoes, thanks Eric for taking me out!

4. Law Enforcement Officers for helping to keep us safe--I can't imagine being brave enough to risk my own safety to help others.
5. I'm reading a good novel right now. Off to bed to read!

Night night.

A few pictures of Tiny Clover and friends

I needed to make a photo tribute to Clover, just had to. These are in no particular order.
