5. Nothing extremely dreadful has happened in my on call shift so far. Fourteen and a half more hours to go.
A few requests: from the On-Call Fairies, please let no one die or fall tonight. From the universe, please let me have an enjoyable, relaxed week at work. And while we're at it, may all beings be free from suffering (though please don't free any of our patients tonight in the big sense...and if it must be, please wait until after 5am. Yes, I'm aware that that is a little ridiculous, but I am REALLY tired.)
